Judging

CNME’s ICT Achievement Awards 2011 will be judged by a panel comprising industry experts from across the region.

This will include end-users, consultants and analysts.

 
Dr Aisha Butti Bin Bishr

Dr Aisha Butti Bin Bishr is known to be a highly versatile and dynamic professional with over 16 years of experience in ICT development in both public and government sectors. She has demonstrated skills and strengths that include strong analytical, coordination, communication and advocacy skills especially relating to ICT, public reform trends and strategies, and the ability to manage people and to deliver on projects.

Dr Bin Bishr has a track record and emphasises on scoping, developing, implementing and providing strategic management, partnership development and change management within organisations. Proven to be a team player and a person who gets things done, quality and delivery are not negotiable for her

She has a proven track record in managing and supervising diverse activities across various borders and disciplines, and the ability to formulate and apply comprehensive problem-solving approaches at various technical and managerial levels.

 
Trevor Moore
IT director, Abu Dhabi University

Trevor Moore is the IT director for Abu Dhabi University. He is responsible for delivering IT end to end at Abu Dhabi Universities two campuses, supporting over 4500 students and 400 staff and faculty. In addition he is a member of the CIO forum for education in the UAE,  his team recently won the best mobility project 2011 from network news middle east for delivering online learning to mobile devices.

Since graduating in Material science, Trevor has 18 years of progressively responsible positions in business and technology management in numerous industries from military, banking, telecom, education to running his own IT consultancy company.  He is currently working on his dissertation for MSc in IT management from Liverpool University.
 
Sa’di Awienat
Director, IT, Qatar Foundation

As the IT Director, Sa’di Awienat is responsible for developing and managing the IT short-term plans and long-term Strategies in support of QF's mission and core objectives, Overseeing the activities of the IT Directorate, and maintaining the relationship with customers and partners.  Through leadership, strategic planning and team motivation; he managed to lead Qatar Foundation IT Directorate from one success to another and effectively implemented a rich portfolio of business applications aligned with QF Vision and is supported by an IT Infrastructure within the Education City capable of supporting the substantial growth within QF and the advanced research facilities.

Awienat holds an MBA Degree and Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering topped with more than 15- year of experience in various IT disciplines across range of sectors. Prior to joining Qatar Foundation, Mr. Awienat was working for Accenture as a Manager in the Financial Sector with focus on System Integration. Within his Accenture experience, he led several projects of system implementation/integration in various regional banks. In the course of his career, Mr. Awienat has been a frequent keynote speaker at many conferences and symposiums and has led many initiatives that have resulted in receiving several awards.
